- Micro-concrete jacketing works using free-flowing micro-concrete, with thicknesses ranging from 75 mm to 500 mm.
- Formwork and skin shuttering works to accommodate large jacketing thicknesses and high-volume micro-concrete casting.

BRIEF
Cultural Village, also known as Dubai Wharf, is a mixed-use waterfront development located in Al Jaddaf, Dubai, opposite Al Jaddaf Metro Station. The development was conceived as a contemporary Arabesque town along Dubai Creek, combining residential, retail, shopping, and entertainment spaces.
Changes in structural loads required significant strengthening works to selected core walls, staircases, and columns.
Venus carried out strengthening by enlarging the cross-sectional areas of these elements using free-flowing micro-concrete in thicknesses ranging from 75 mm to 500 mm. The works involved major technical challenges, including fixing skin shutters for large thicknesses and casting substantial quantities of micro-concrete.
