BRIEF
Dubai’s Jewel of the Creek is a major mixed-use development in Deira, Dubai, comprising hotels, apartments, offices, and a conference centre. The project was designed as a landmark tourist destination, adding further prominence to the city and enhancing the tourism profile of the surrounding creekside area.
The development required structural works across multiple building elements to support the overall development requirements.
Venus carried out structural strengthening works using conventional reinforced concrete jacketing for columns, beams, and core walls, together with CFRP strengthening systems including strips, rods, anchors, and wraps for selected structural members.
