J-One Tower

J-One Tower is a commercial and residential development located in Business Bay along the Dubai Canal. The project is known for its unique architectural form and had reached ground level in some areas before being placed on hold for several years.

Following resumption of the project, structural elements affected by prolonged exposure to harsh weather conditions required assessment, repair, and rectification. Additional strengthening was also required to accommodate increased loads resulting from the updated design.

Venus carried out concrete repair works and CFRP strengthening using strips and wraps, including rectification and strengthening of basement vertical elements to support the revised structural requirements.
