BRIEF
Studio Republik is a 65,000 sq.ft premium fitness centre located in Eiffel Building 1 on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. The project involved a comprehensive refurbishment to transform the space into a fully equipped gym and wellness facility.
The change in use required structural strengthening works to accommodate the new functional and operational loads associated with the fitness centre.
Venus carried out conventional strengthening through reinforced concrete column jacketing, slab thickening, and drop caps, together with CFRP strengthening using strips, anchors, and wraps for selected structural members.
