BRIEF
London Gate is a landmark residential high-rise in Dubai Marina comprising six basement levels, a ground floor, and 106 storeys. The project had been on hold for several years before works resumed, requiring a detailed review of the constructed portions of the building.
Following the assessment, selected structural elements required upgrading to meet the updated design and safety requirements of the development.
Venus designed and executed strengthening works for load bearing walls, beams, and slabs, including wall jacketing with CFRP strips, beam jacketing, and slab strengthening using CFRP strips and anchors.
